Script Authorization Issue

When a script is previewed or run in the Google Ads interface, it requires being authorized in Google Ads, because the script will access data from your account and may also make changes on your behalf.

The authorization request is something that happens on the Google Ads side and is not related to the script settings created in Optmyzr, however we've seen instances where Google Ads prompts you to authorize the script multiple times.

This usually happens if you're signed into multiple Google accounts at the same time. To fix this, we recommend logging out of all Google accounts except the one associated with your Google Ads account.

Script records in Google Ads Change History

If you're running a script that applies changes in your account, Google will record the script actions in Change History under the email of the person who installed the script. However, if a second user in the Google Ads interface runs the script manually, reauthorizes it, or modifies the script or its schedule, the changes will be logged under the second user's email.

Suppose "User A" installs the script, and then "User B" changes the script settings in the Google Ads interface. Change History will record the changes under "User B" even when "User A" installed the script.
