What is it?

The Budget Dashboard is a centralized tool designed to help you view, monitor, and optimize your budgets effectively. It simplifies the identification of budget optimization opportunities, ensuring you can manage your advertising spend efficiently.

Where To Find It In the Optmyzr Tool?

To access the Budget Dashboard:

  1. Navigate to Manage and Optimize in the Optmyzr tool.

  2. Click on Budgets.

  3. You will find the Budget Dashboard available under both Single Account and Multi Account options.

    1. Choose a Single Account to view the dashboard for a specific account.

    2. Select a Portfolio to gain insights across multiple accounts.

Widgets Available on the Dashboard

Budget Target

The Budget Target widget allows you to add and edit your monthly target budget for the selected account or portfolio.

Clicking on the 'Edit' option opens a side tray where you can modify the monthly target budget and the budget cycle date. You can also adjust the actions for the budget monitor directly from the side tray.

All widgets reflect data based on the selected budgets and date range, so any targets shown are specific to that context and may differ from the overall account-level target.

Cost Summary

The Cost Summary widget provides an overview of costs incurred to date, highlights any overspending, and indicates how many days remain in the selected date range.

Pacing

The Pacing widget shows whether your budget is on track to meet the target spend by the end of the budget cycle. It also displays the percentage of the target you will end up spending by the end of the date range.

Spend Projection

The Spend Projection widget presents a spend projection chart for the selected account or portfolio.

Click on the 'View Details' option to access the spend projection tool, where you can see detailed projections, including simulation budget, projected spend, and average required daily spend.

Day-of-the-week Trends

The Day-of-the-Week Trends widget displays the average performance of your selected metrics for each day of the week based on the chosen date range. This helps you identify which days typically deliver better results or higher costs, enabling more strategic budget allocation and campaign scheduling.

Media Mix Overview

The Media Mix Overview widget displays how specific metrics are distributed across various platforms and advertising channels. You can select from a range of performance metrics from the top right corner of the widget.

Budget Monitoring

The Budget Monitoring Widget allows you to get a quick overview of all the budget monitors set up for the particular account or portfolio. You can set up a new budget monitor from the widget or view details of active ones.

Performance Metrics

This section gives you a quick overview of all your performance metrics at a budget level for the selected date range.

Filters

In the top right corner of the Budget Dashboard, you will find filtering options to customize your view. You can select all or some of the budgets in the account or portfolio.

You can also add the following filters:

  • Budget Status: Filter to see enabled, paused, or removed budgets.

  • Budget Type: Choose between Campaign and Shared budgets.

  • Budget Name: Add conditions to display specific budgets on the dashboard.

  • Cost: Filter budgets that meet certain cost conditions.

Date Range

Select the date range for which you wish to view and monitor budget details. You can use the toggle to offset the data by specific days to account for any conversion delays.
