We're making this move to provide a more focused and powerful experience for Social ads management. This allows us to dedicate specialized development resources to both our Search and Social product suites.

All existing Facebook Ads management tools previously available in Optmyzr for Search are moving. This includes tools like the Account Dashboard, PPC Investigator, Performance Comparison, Magic Quadrants, Rule Engine, Alerts, Reports, and Budget Optimization capabilities for Meta Ads.

For the next three months (starting October 2025), all Facebook Ads tools will remain in the side navigation menu under "Facebook Ads" in Optmyzr for Search. When you click any of these tools, the product interface will automatically switch to Optmyzr for Social. You can read more about what changes to expect here.

Existing Optmyzr customers will receive a 3-month free trial (Starting on October 6th) of Optmyzr for Social, which has been activated automatically on your account.

Yes, the subscription will automatically continue after the 3-month free trial at the discounted rate of $79/month (for existing Optmyzr for Search subscribers), unless you choose to cancel before the trial period ends.

No, if you are an existing paid Optmyzr for Social customer, your subscription and billing are unaffected. You will now have access to the newly migrated individual account-level tools for Meta Ads.

After the transition, all Facebook Ads tools and features will be available exclusively in Optmyzr for Social. If you choose not to subscribe, you will not be able to access Meta Ads in these tools.

If you choose NOT to subscribe to Optmyzr for Social, all your existing automation involving Facebook Ads (Account and Portfolio Budget alerts, KPI alerts, Rule Engine strategies, scheduled reports) will be paused.

For now, you’ll be able to access your Facebook Dashboards, alerts, and insights from the Optmyzr for Search menu. After the three-month trial, continued access to these features will be available only with an active Optmyzr for Social subscription.

If you do not have an active Optmyzr for Social trial or paid subscription, you will not be able to link a Facebook login email from the 'Manage Linked Accounts' page. You will have to sign up for an Optmyzr for Social trial or purchase a subscription.

The option to link a Facebook login will be disabled for Optmyzr for Search users who do not have an active Optmyzr for Social trial or paid account. You will be directed to options for access.

I am an Optmyzr for a Social-only user. How do I unlock the Search platform tools (Google, Microsoft, etc.)?
If you're an Optmyzr for Social-only user, you will only be able to access Meta ad management tools. The corresponding tools for Search platforms remain locked. You can unlock them by starting a free trial or purchasing a paid subscription to Optmyzr for Search.

Where will the optimization history and automation logs for my Facebook tools be saved?

The Optimization History page is shared across both Search and Social. It includes an account picker, so there is no separate history for each product. If you have linked and have access to a Facebook account, you can simply select it from the account picker to view its optimization logs.

During this initial phase, account and campaign-level alerts for Meta and LinkedIn Ads will still be managed on the existing Alerts page in Optmyzr for Search.

What does it mean that Optmyzr for Social is moving away from the "portfolio only" approach?
Optmyzr for Social is expanding to include two sets of tools: individual account-level tools (for Meta and LinkedIn) and the existing portfolio-level tools. This allows you to link individual accounts and access Optmyzr tools without having to first create a portfolio.

Organic Meta posts' data isn't fetched by Optmyzr, yet. We'll keep you posted on when we include organic data.

Will I be able to include Meta accounts in my portfolio or budget groups after the migration?
Yes, but only if you have an Optmyzr for Social free trial or paid subscription. Once the migration is complete, you’ll need an active Social plan to create clients or budget groups that include Meta accounts.
Can I manage cross-platform budget portfolios (Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, and Meta Ads) with a Social subscription?
Can I manage cross-platform budget portfolios (Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, and Meta Ads) with a Social subscription?
Yes. Cross-platform budget management will remain available for users who have an active Social trial or paid subscription. You’ll be able to include Meta Ads along with Google Ads and Microsoft Ads in your Portfolio Budget Management workflows.
