This is a beta feature, currently available only to Premium and Enterprise users.

What Is Bulk Upload Options?

Bulk Upload Options allows users to upload and manage budgets in bulk. Instead of updating budgets or attributes manually each month by navigating multiple tools, you can now define them at scale using a single upload workflow.

You can use the feature to:

  • Upload target budgets and account-level attributes in bulk

  • Apply budget changes immediately or from a future effective date

  • Manage budgets at both Account and Budget Group levels

The Bulk Upload Options are currently available for Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Amazon Ads, Yahoo! Japan Ads, and Facebook Ads.

Where To Find It?

You'll find the Bulk Upload Options button on your All Accounts Dashboard.

Once you click on it, you'll see the different bulk upload options available:

  1. View upcoming budgets

  2. View upload history

Why Use Bulk Upload Options?

Advertisers often plan budgets weeks or months in advance. However, until now, this still required returning to Optmyzr every month to manually update targets. The Bulk Upload Options simplify long-term budget planning while reducing manual effort and operational overhead.

Bulk Upload Options solves several key challenges:

  • Eliminates repetitive monthly updates - Plan budgets once and upload them to take effect in the future.

  • Replaces fragmented workflows - Manage Account-level and Budget Group–level targets through a single, unified upload experience.

  • Improves efficiency for large accounts - Avoid navigating individual budget monitors or editing targets one by one.

  • Reduces errors with preview and validation - Review your data before applying changes and avoid discrepancies.

How to Use Bulk Upload Options

Update Budgets & Other Attributes Now

This option lets you update budgets and other account attributes in bulk and with immediate effect.

  • Download sample data* - You'll first need to download a sample file that contains live data stored in Optmyzr. This file reflects current target budgets, currency, existing account attributes, and any upcoming budget changes.

  • Make changes to the downloaded file - Once you've downloaded the sample file that contains your account and budget information, you'll be able to make changes to it.

  • Select a method to upload changes* - You can either upload your file as a CSV or link via Google Sheets.

  • Preview Data - Once you upload your csv file or link your Google Sheet, you will see a preview window where you can review errors, validate the data, and confirm to proceed with the updates.

*The file used to update changes in bulk needs to follow a strict format. You can refer to the Bulk Upload Options - Guidelines for details.

Set Budgets for Future Dates

How It Works

  • Download the sample file, update the target budget and start date (the date the budget change should apply)

  • Upload the file using CSV or Google Sheets and proceed to Preview Data.

  • Review the changes and confirm to change the target budgets

Scheduling Multiple Future Changes for the Same Entity

You can upload more than one future budget change for the same Account or Budget Group. To do this:

  • Add multiple rows for the same entity

  • Each row should include a different Start Date and the corresponding Target Budget starting from that date

Each row represents the target that will take effect from the specified date.

Example:

Account

Target Budget

Budget Start Date

Account A

1,000

1 Jan

Account A

1,500

1 Feb

In this example, the target budget will be 1,000 starting January 1, and it will automatically update to 1,500 starting February 1.

Previewing Future Budget Timelines

When you upload future-dated budgets, the Preview Data step includes a timeline view for each Account and Budget Group.

This timeline helps you:

  • Confirm when each budget will take effect

  • Identify overlapping or conflicting changes

  • Validate that future updates are set up correctly before applying them

View Upcoming Budgets

You will be able to view and manage all upcoming budgets already in place.

Select a row to see the detailed timeline of changes that are already set up for the target budget. You can then:

  • Add a future target budget

  • Edit the currently active target budget

  • Edit or delete a future target budget set previously

View Upload History

This is where you'll be able to see a detailed list of all your past budget and attribute uploads. You can:

  • View details like date, time, and the owner of the uploads

  • View whether or not the upload was successful

  • View Type of uploads (Budget and attributes or Future Budgets)

  • Filter to view history for a date range of your choice

  • Filter to see the upload history by source of uploads (CSV or Google Sheets)

  • Download and view each bulk upload sheet
