Customer Match in Google Ads lets you use your online and offline data to reach and re-engage with your customers across Search, Shopping, Gmail, YouTube, and Display. A Customer Match List is a CSV file that includes customer data which you upload to Google Ads to incorporate it into your campaigns' targeting.
With Optmyzr's Customer Match List feature, you can now automate the customer match creation, upload and update process to a few simple steps.
You can access the feature directly from the Optimizations tab, under Utility Tools, or from this link.
Create a New List
To get started, create a new list by clicking on the 'Add New Customer Match list' button on the top right corner of the page.
You can give a name and description to the list you choose to create.
Edit the List
You can edit the Customer Match List created by clicking on the edit button.
Link the spreadsheet with your customer file data in the space provided next to 'Google Spreadsheet Url'.
Please specify the sheet name, if no sheet name is mentioned, the default selection would be the first sheet.
Automate the Updates
You can schedule the automation to run on a daily, weekly or monthly basis. Select the time span from the given options during which the automation has to run.
Finally, hit on the automate button at the bottom right corner. Your Customer Match List will automatically get updated on Google Ads whenever you make any changes to the linked spreadsheet.
Note : You can choose to enable or pause the Lists by hitting on the option shown in the image below. The list will not be auto populated if the Customer Match List is Paused.
