You can now use the Shopping Campaign Management tool to restructure product groups or listing groups for your Shopping and PMax retail campaigns.
What is it?
With the Shopping Campaign Management tool, you can restructure your shopping or PMAX retail campaign groups created using the Shopping Campaign Builder 2.0 as well as your campaigns that are not a part of the Optmyzr-created campaign group.
Select your restructuring strategy
Using this feature, you can only change the product group or listing group creation strategy, not the ad group or asset group structure.
For campaign groups created in Optmyzr, use the 'Modify Campaign Structure' option to change the product group or listing group strategy. Click on Save and then proceed to Preview and Apply the changes.
For campaigns created in Optmyzr, use the 'Select Campaign Structure' and choose the modification type as 'Modify Existing Ad Groups'. Choosing to modify your already existing ad groups will allow you to restructure your product groups or listing groups.
The option to 'Choose Ad Group to work with' allows you to select the ad groups with the same ad group structure to work with. Once you select the ad groups to work with, you can define the desired product group or listing group structure you want for the selected set of ad groups.
Important Notes
You can GRIP your campaign groups using this tool by mentioning the Item ID at the last level in the required split hierarchy.
No new ad groups/product groups will be created using this tool (even if there are new products in the feed); it just restructures the existing ad groups. To refresh your existing campaigns/campaign groups, you should use the Shopping Campaign Management tool.
If there are any inconsistencies in a campaign group or a campaign, then we don’t restructure it. It is recommended to solve the warnings and then use the tool. If you have any questions feel free to contact us, and our awesome support team will help you out.
