What Is It?

The Social Campaign Manager is a powerful tool designed to help you view, create, and manage configurations for your social campaigns, ad sets, and ads. This guide will walk you through the features and functionalities of the Social Campaign Manager, ensuring you can navigate and utilize it effectively.

Note: Creation and editing are currently available only for Meta Ads.

Campaign Manager Tabs

Campaigns

The Campaigns tab is where you can manage all aspects of your campaigns. You can:

1. Create New Campaigns

To create a new campaign:

  • Click on the 'Create New Campaign' option to the left of the Campaigns tab.

  • You will be redirected to the Paid Campaign Launcher, where you can set up and create your campaign.

2. View Campaign Details

The Campaigns tab displays a table showing key performance indicators (KPIs) such as clicks, impressions, and costs for all your campaigns.

Clicking on the column selector (highlighted in the screenshot) opens a side tray where you can customize the campaigns table and pick which columns you want to see.

3. Edit Campaign Settings

To edit an individual campaign:

  • Click the gear icon (⚙️) next to the campaign name.

  • A side tray will open, allowing you to adjust the campaign name, status, schedule type, bidding strategy, and daily budget.

Accounts

The Accounts section provides an overview of all accounts in your portfolio. You can easily monitor the performance of all the accounts in the portfolio from one place. As in the Campaigns tab, you can choose which KPIs appear in the table.

Filter by Account: Click on a specific account name to view campaigns with a pre-applied filter for that account.

Filter by Campaign: Click on a campaign name to view ad sets with a pre-applied filter for that campaign.

Ad Sets

Ad sets are a crucial part of your campaign structure. In the Ad Sets tab, you can manage settings for each ad set, including:

  • Ad set name

  • Ad set status

  • Schedule type and timing

  • Conversion setup

  • Audience targeting options

To edit an ad set, click the gear icon (⚙️) in the Ad Sets tab.

Clicking on a specific Ad Set name will take you to the Ads tab with a pre-applied filter for that Ad Set.

Ads

In the Ads tab, you can see the following attributes:

  • Ad Names

  • Quality Ranking

  • Key Performance Indicators

To edit an ad, click the gear icon (⚙️) next to the ad name.

Clicking the person icon (👤) beside the ad will take you to the Audiences tab with a pre-applied filter for that ad. You can remove the filter to see the account-level audiences.

Audiences

The Audiences tab simplifies audience management. Here, you can view details such as:

  • Audience Type

  • Source

  • Size

  • Availability

You can easily search for specific audiences using the search bar. Additionally, filter audiences by account name, type, source, and availability.

To create a new Custom Audience (for Meta Ads), click on Create New Audience. You can find details on how to set up a Custom Audience here. Once you've successfully created a new custom audience, you will be redirected back to the Audiences tab of the Campaign Manager, where you can view it.

Managing Filters

If you want to broaden your view in each tab and see all items (for example, all ad sets and not just those for the selected campaign), you can easily remove the contextual filter.

Click the 'x' to refresh the list and remove the filter. You will see the full list of items for that tab (e.g., all Ad Sets, all Ads).

This method of identifying and removing automatically applied filters works consistently across the Campaigns, Ad Sets, Ads, and Audiences tabs within Campaign Manager. It allows you to easily switch between a focused, context-specific view and a comprehensive overview of all items.
