What is the Portfolio Dashboard?

The Portfolio Dashboard provides quick takeaways at the portfolio, account, and campaign levels. This allows you to quickly identify optimization opportunities.

View portfolio, account, and campaign performance segmented by devices and demographics, or analyze data by platform. You can also get quick insights using the various dashboard widgets.

Customize Your View

Manage these settings to analyze account or campaign performance. You can define the following before "updating" data:

  • Filter data by account or campaign type.

  • Select a date range to view performance trends. For advanced options, offset the data or select custom date ranges.

Note: The selected date range applies to all widgets in the Portfolio Dashboard.

Performance Metrics

To view account traffic, the cards in the 'Performance Metrics' widget will be focused on impressions, clicks, and cost.

When looking at metrics, you’ll notice the ‘Choose Columns’ icon on the top right corner of the widgets. Use this option to customize displayed metrics or create a Custom Preset for future use.

For a better visual experience, we recommend selecting less than 15 columns to show.

Portfolio Accounts

The Portfolio Accounts widget lists all the different accounts that are part of the selected Portfolio along with their performance metrics.

You can sort the accounts by any metric by clicking the desired column header.

Portfolio Alerts

The Alerts widget displays the alerts triggered within the portfolio, its associated accounts and campaign activity. Clicking on the widget opens up the triggered alerts side tray.

Read more about alerts here.

Metric Comparison

Using this widget, you can compare the performance of the selected metrics throughout the date range used in the Portfolio Dashboard. This provides insights into overall metric behavior at the portfolio level.

Demographics

Analyze metric performance across demographic segments by looking at two graphs:

  • The first one is a bar chart that displays the distribution in the performance of a metric across different age ranges along with a gender-wise distribution.

  • The second one is a pie chart that displays the split in performance across different genders.

Currently, this widget supports only Facebook Ads accounts. LinkedIn support is planned for a future update.

Platform Distribution

View the distribution of a performance metric across platforms, i.e., Facebook, LinkedIn, and Instagram, in your portfolio. Choose the desired metric from the dropdown on the top right. For more options, click ‘Choose Metric’.

Top Elements

Identify top-performing accounts and campaigns in your portfolio. You can use this widget to find costly components to reduce spend, or locate areas driving maximum conversions.

By clicking ‘View Full Table’ (for accounts) or ‘View X More' (for campaigns), the system will open a side tray with more data available, and you can change the deciding metric to sort the results.

Performance Change

This widget provides an overview of how the performance of accounts and campaigns has changed compared to the previous period in regards to a specific KPI.

The comparison table shows top entities, their status, key metrics, previous values, and numeric/percentage changes.

Devices

Compare metric performance across devices instantly. You can quickly find out, for instance, if Costs and Conversions are in sync with each other on the devices.

For example, if 70% of your conversions come from Mobile, but 70% of your budget is spent on Desktop, you can quickly identify and correct what might be causing the imbalance. In such a situation, you can optimize your campaigns to target more of your budget on your Mobile audience.
