What is it?

The Campaign Creation and Management feature in Optmyzr enables you to create or duplicate Google Ads campaigns directly from the Optmyzr interface with just a few clicks.

It currently supports:

  • Search Campaigns

  • Standard Shopping Campaigns

  • Performance Max Campaigns for Retail, and

  • Performance Max Campaigns for Lead Gen

Unlike other campaign creation tools in Optmyzr, like the Campaign Automator or Shopping Campaign Management, this feature works independently of structured feeds or spreadsheets. It gives you the flexibility of manual campaign creation, but with a faster, more intuitive experience than the Google Ads interface.

Why Use It?

Creating campaigns manually in Google Ads can be time-consuming and overwhelming, especially when you're managing multiple accounts or building similar campaigns. This tool streamlines the campaign creation process in Optmyzr by offering:

  • A simplified interface for building campaigns from scratch without a feed or data source.

  • The ability to duplicate existing campaigns and save time when creating similar campaigns.

  • Faster setup compared to navigating through Google Ads’ multi-step process.

  • An improved workflow, keeping campaign creation and optimization in one place, and reducing your need to jump back and forth between platforms.

How Does It Work?

You can create new campaigns directly in Optmyzr from the Account Management Side Tray.

Navigate to the 'Campaigns' tab of the Account Management Side Tray. Click on 'Create New Campaign.' You can then proceed to select the type of campaign and set it up.

Search and PMax Lead Gen Campaigns

To help you get started, here are three methods you can use to create Search campaigns and PMax Lead Gen campaigns using the Campaign Creation and Management tool:

1. Using Rapid Campaign Launcher

Use the Optmyzr Rapid Campaign Launcher to create and use an on-demand template. You can read in detail about how to use the tool here.

2. Duplicating an Existing Campaign

Select an existing campaign that you want to duplicate from the account. You can make changes you wish to the copy of the campaign, and proceed to preview and apply the campaign to your account.

3. Manual Setup

You can set up a campaign manually, from scratch. Here's everything you'll need to add:

  1. Campaign Name

Enter the name of your Search or PMax Lead Gen campaign.

  2. Campaign Labels

Enter any labels that you wish to add to the campaign. This step is optional.

  3. Budget Type and Amount

Choose whether you'd like to use an individual or shared budget for the campaign, and proceed to add the name and amount.

  4. Target Locations and Languages

Enter location and language IDs that you'd like to target using the campaign. You can also choose to exclude certain locations.

  5. Bidding Strategy

Select the bidding strategy that you'd like to use for the campaign.

  6. Negative Keyword Lists (for Search Campaigns)

For Search campaigns, you can add or edit negative keyword lists.

  7. Audiences (for Search)

For PMax Lead Gen Campaigns, you will be able to add Audiences by entering the audience IDs as comma-separated values.

Note: You cannot add Audiences at the campaign level for PMax Lead Gen campaigns. You can, however, add them at the asset group level.

  8. Campaign Assets

Add campaign assets like Sitelinks, Callout Assets, Price Assets, and Call assets.

  9. Ad Groups (for Search)

If you're creating a Search campaign, you'll have to set up at least one ad group under the campaign. Follow the steps in the tool and populate details, including keywords and ads, to your ad group.

  10. Asset Groups (for PMax Lead Gen)

If you're creating a PMax Lead Gen campaign, you'll have to set up your Asset group. Once you add the name of your business and the final URL, you can proceed to add assets like headlines, descriptions, images, and videos.

The tool also lets you connect your PMax Lead Gen campaigns to an Audience. You can either create a new audience, link it to an existing audience, or copy and edit an existing audience.

Once you have all the settings in place, you can preview and apply the campaign.

Pmax Retail and Standard Shopping Campaigns

To create new PMax Retail and Standard Shopping campaigns, you will be redirected to the Shopping Campaign Management tool. Read in detail about how to use the tool here.
