What is It?
The Social Campaign Launcher streamlines the process of creating and launching paid social advertising campaigns across Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn Ads. With this tool, you can quickly select accounts, customize campaign themes, and manage ad elements—all within an intuitive interface.
The Social Campaign Launcher is only available on request. Please contact support@optmyzr.com to get access to the Social Campaign Launcher.
Where Can You Find the Tool?
To access the tool, navigate to the left-hand side menu, click Campaign Launcher, and select Social Campaign Manager and Launcher. The Social Campaign Manager tool opens, which allows you to manage campaigns created in native Social platforms (LinkedIn and Meta). (User Guide)
In the Campaigns tab, click the ‘New Campaign’ button to start. You'll be redirected to the Social Campaign Launcher tool and prompted to add all the details to create a new campaign.
How to Use It?
When the Social Campaign Manager and Launcher view is opened, you can select the ad platform and account you can work on from the account selector there.
The choice is then carried to the Social Campaign Laucher tool, which currently supports campaign creation for Meta and LinkedIn.
Campaign Name
The first step of campaign creation is to set a campaign name. The default name is set to 'Meta Campaign' or 'LinkedIn Campaign' depending on the ad platform you are working on. The campaign name is customizable.
Ad Destination
The Ad Destination section sets the Facebook Page and Instagram account your ads run under.
To set your ad destination:
Click Select Ad Destinations to open the side panel.
Under Facebook Page, click Select a page and choose a page from the list. You can search by page name or ID. If a page you expect isn’t listed, click Refresh Pages.
Under Instagram Account, choose the Instagram business account you want your ads to appear under.
Click Save.
Note: The Instagram Account field stays locked until you choose a Facebook Business Page.
Campaign Attributes
Here you can configure your campaign details, such as campaign type, status, objective, and spend cap.
The tool offers two campaign types:
Default Meta Campaigns: Manual control over all the creatives.
Catalog Ads: Create Meta Catalog Ads campaigns using a product catalogue linked to your Meta account.
Special Ad Categories
This is the special ad category country setting from Meta. Once you pick a special category, Meta asks which countries the ads will run in. Rules for these categories differ by country, and Meta applies them based on this list.
Meta's Special Ad Categories are mandatory campaign classifications designed to prevent discrimination and ensure fairness across sensitive advertising sectors on Facebook and Instagram.
Ad Set Attributes
Use this panel to name your ad set and define what success looks like.
Enter an Ad Set Name and choose a Status.
Under Conversion Location, choose where you want people to convert:
Website
App (make sure targeting is set to mobile devices)
Messenger (make sure targeting is set to mobile devices)
Instagram Profile
Under Performance Goals, choose what Meta should optimize for:
Maximize link clicks: the most clicks on your ad links
Maximize landing page views: the most people who click and let your landing page load
Maximize daily unique reach: your ad shown to as many different people as possible, up to once a day
Select your Meta Pixel. The pixel is a code snippet on your website that tracks conversions from your ads. Choosing one loads its conversion events, including standard and custom conversions.
Under Conversion Event, choose the action you want people to complete after seeing your ad, such as Purchase, Lead, Complete Registration, or Add to Cart. The default is Ad Impression.
Click Save.
