What Is It?
The Campaign Creation and Management feature in Optmyzr enables you to create or duplicate Google Ads campaigns directly from the Optmyzr interface with just a few clicks.
It currently supports:
Search Campaigns
Performance Max Campaigns for Retail
Performance Max Campaigns for Lead Gen
Standard Shopping Campaigns
Unlike other campaign creation tools in Optmyzr, like the Campaign Automator or Shopping Campaign Management, this feature works independently of structured feeds or spreadsheets. It gives you the flexibility of manual campaign creation, but with a faster, more intuitive experience than the Google Ads interface.
Why Use It?
Creating campaigns manually in Google Ads can be time-consuming and overwhelming, especially when you're managing multiple accounts or building similar campaigns. This tool streamlines the campaign creation process in Optmyzr by offering:
A simplified interface for building campaigns from scratch without a feed or data source.
The ability to duplicate existing campaigns and save time when creating similar campaigns.
Faster setup compared to navigating through Google Ads’ multi-step process.
An improved workflow, keeping campaign creation and optimization in one place, and reducing your need to jump back and forth between platforms.
Where to Find It?
To create new campaigns directly in Optmyzr,
Navigate to the All Accounts Dashboard
Click on the three dots beside the account for which you want to create a campaign
Click on the 'View Campaigns' option to open the 'Campaigns' tab within the Account Management Side Tray.
Click on 'Create New Campaign.' You can then proceed to select the type of campaign and set it up.
Left Navigation Menu
From the left navigation menu, go to ‘Manage & Optimize’. Here, you’ll see the ‘Campaign Manager & Launcher’ sub-section in it.
Hovering over the sub-section will expand the submenu.
Click on ‘Campaign Creation’
Search and PMax Lead Gen Campaigns
For Search and PMax Lead Gen Campaigns, you get three options for campaign creation:
Create Campaign with AI
Use a Template
Duplicate Existing Campaign
Create Campaigns with AI
Step 1: This option opens an input form. Here you can either manually fill in your website URL or have it pre-filled using the AI-profile option.
Step 2: Once you click on the ‘Analyze Site’ button, your website will be used to pull relevant information, such as business context, keywords, and images.
Next, the URL generates:
Campaign name
Business description
Ad group(s) with relevant structure
Keywords (for Search campaigns)
Ad copy — headlines, descriptions
Assets — text assets for PMAX; images scraped from URL where applicable
Daily budget
All of these fields can be edited, added, and/or removed.
Step 3: Click on the ‘Generate Campaign’ button, which opens the campaign in a full-page preview. The preview shows:
Campaign name
Ad group names and structure
Keywords per ad group
Ad headlines and descriptions
Assets (images for PMAX)
Step 4: You can review the details and click on ‘Apply’ to push the campaign to Google Ads.
Use a Template
This option takes you to the Rapid Campaign Launcher tool to create and use an on-demand template. You can read in detail about how to use the tool here.
Duplicate Existing Campaign
Select an existing campaign that you want to duplicate from the account. You can make changes you wish to the copy of the campaign, and proceed to preview and apply the campaign to your account.
Pmax Retail and Standard Shopping Campaigns
To create new PMax Retail and Standard Shopping campaigns, you will be redirected to the Shopping Campaign Management tool. Read in detail about how to use the tool here.
