Audit and optimize merchant feed and shopping campaigns

Optimize your Merchant Feed using Optmyzr Express

This new express optimization finds products in your merchant feed that don’t have the “Brand” attribute defined and lets you enter the brand and apply changes through a supplemental feed (you’ll need to create this in the merchant center).

It is a quick approach to optimize feeds in small chunks of five products at a time, without setting up rules for all products with this issue.

How does this work?

  • Create a 'Content API' supplemental feed in your merchant center account (the process is explained here), and share the supplemental feed ID with us.

  • This supplemental feed would be used to make the required changes to your products according to your preference.

Enhance your campaign structure with Shopping Feed Audits

We have added a list of audits for campaigns and product/listing groups in Shopping Feed Audits to help you make data-driven optimizations.

These audits help you identify opportunities for enhancing your shopping and PMax Retail campaign structure and organization. For example, you can:

  • Identify product groups or listing groups that contain too many products. You can split them further for better management and targeting.

  • Identify shopping campaigns without any negative keywords.

AI in Optmyzr

Create a new ad using the upgraded “Optmyzr AI Suggestions” in AB Testing for Ads

We have made an improvement to the AI-suggested variations while creating a new ad or copying from an existing one using AB Testing for Ads (which was previously only based on the existing ad components).

We now do web scraping to extract content and data from the associated domain (the URL associated with the winning ad copy in the ad group) and fill in the AI-based suggestions based on that.

Use Optmyzr Sidekick across multiple languages to gain insights into Facebook and Amazon ad accounts too

You can now gain quick insights from our AI Assistant on the Account Dashboard into your Facebook and Amazon ad accounts too, in addition to Google and Microsoft Ads. Do explore the language picker to interact with the Sidekick in your preferred language too.

Monitor your search terms and keywords

Check which search terms appeared for the N-Grams

While analyzing the traffic your campaigns have been receiving through Search Terms N-Grams, you can now see the context of all the search terms that appeared for the n-grams selected by you.

Click on the “Count” figure to see the exact search terms that appeared for those 'n' instances along with their performance metrics.

Filter out Rule Engine suggestions by adding conditions through an external list

Rule Engine’s latest update lets you filter out suggestions by adding conditions through an external list based on your business knowledge.

For example, if you want to add poor-performing search terms as negative keywords but have a defined set of terms you definitely need to keep in the ad group, you can enter that list through a spreadsheet and use a condition: Search Term not in list <column name>. The system will then filter out all those suggestions from the strategy automatically.

Check if a search term is a part of the account-level negative list before adding it as a negative using Rule Engine

This newly-added attribute in the “Ad Group Search Terms” scope of Rule Engine will help you filter out search terms that are already present in the account-level negative list while reporting on low-performing search terms to add as negatives.

What’s new with Amazon and Microsoft Ads?

Import existing Google Ads campaigns while creating Microsoft Ad accounts

The popular Microsoft Ads Account Creation widget on the Account Dashboard now has an amazing update, which will allow you to create a new Microsoft ad account directly in Optmyzr and import campaigns from existing Google Ads accounts.

It's a one-time import, and you can import either all enabled campaigns, ad groups, and extensions or all enabled and paused entities.

Reminder: We are offering an advertising credit of $250 to all new Microsoft Ads advertisers who set up an account using the widget and spend $500 in the first 30 days.

Keep track of changes made to your Microsoft Account with Rule Engine’s Change History feature

The popular "Change History" feature in Rule Engine is now supported for Microsoft Ad accounts too!

You can use this scope to regularly monitor the changes made to your Microsoft accounts using Bulk Upload, Microsoft Advertising API, etc. by each user email, during the past 6 months, thus giving you comprehensive data spread across a larger time frame than Google Ads.

Add top-performing RSAs in your Microsoft accounts to your report template

Highlight which RSAs are performing best (based on your own selection of KPIs) by using the “Text Ads” option in the Top Performers widget in your report templates for Microsoft Ads too.

Dive deep into and report on Amazon Sponsored Display Campaigns

In addition to other Amazon campaign types, you can now leverage insights from PPC Investigator, monitor performance changes, find top performers (from the Account Dashboard), or build reports for your Sponsored Display campaigns in Optmyzr.

Tracking and reporting on account performance

Import external data sources into Optmyzr using the Data Integrations tool (Beta)

Import external data sources into Optmyzr using the Data Integrations tool and create a customizable dashboard to streamline your workflow by having all your data points using a single tool, thus avoiding the unnecessary effort of tracking multiple sources.

You can leverage CRM import to gain additional value and insights along with Optmyzr data.

“Narrate” how the campaign performance changed between two date ranges in your reports

We’ve introduced a new widget in the Report Designer called the “PPC Narrator” which would give you a text explanation of the performance changes that occurred in your account across two time periods.

You can select the sentiment as positive (to highlight wins in your account) or negative (to identify improvement opportunities).

Optimize Campaigns by Weather

The new Weather-based Campaign Optimization tool helps you manage weather-sensitive campaigns by changing location targets or enabling or pausing them based on weather conditions.

Once the automation is set up, the tool will look at the forecast for that day and apply changes to your campaigns based on your rules. Do check out this blog and video to get a better idea!
