Overview of Optmyzr’s Free Grants Account Offering

Optmyzr offers a special plan for users managing only Google Ad Grant accounts. If you’re eligible, you can subscribe to our lowest-spending plan and have the subscription fees waived. This allows non-profit organizations to use Optmyzr’s optimization tools without incurring any additional costs.

Eligibility and Important Considerations

  • You must only manage Google Ad Grant accounts to qualify.

  • You’ll need to provide the account IDs of all Google Ad Grant accounts you wish to connect.

  • If you also manage regular (paid) accounts, you'll need to share all account IDs for billing adjustments.

  • We may periodically audit your billing setup to verify eligibility.

How to Subscribe

  • Start a free trial and subscribe to our lowest monthly plan.

  • Once the subscription is active, notify the Optmyzr team. After we verify your account details, our billing team will issue a refund for the initial charge within 72 hours.

  • For subsequent months, you’ll receive a $0 invoice — meaning you won’t be charged going forward.

Ad Grants Account Compliance Support in Optmyzr

Managing a Google Ad Grants account requires meeting a specific set of compliance requirements. To help you stay aligned with Google’s Ad Grants Policy Compliance Guide, Optmyzr offers tools to monitor, analyze, and optimize your account more effectively.

Key policy requirements include:

  • No single-word keywords (with limited exceptions)

  • No overly generic keywords

  • No keywords with a Quality Score of 1 or 2

  • A minimum 5% click-through rate (CTR) each month

  • Valid conversion tracking, if applicable

  • At least 2 ad groups per campaign

  • At least 2 sitelink ad extensions

  • Participation in the program survey

While meeting all of these requirements can be challenging, Optmyzr helps simplify the process through a combination of monitoring, insights, and optimization tools.

Monitoring: Stay on top of key metrics

Alerts

Set up Alerts to be notified if your CTR drops below the 5% requirement at the account or campaign level.

Account Structure & Conversion Tracking Audits

Use PPC Account Audits to check for a range of compliance issues — from missing sitelinks, too few ads per ad group, and ad group structure problems, to conversion tracking issues like inactive or missing tags, overcounting or undercounting, and reliance on Last Click Attribution.

Single-Word Keywords

Detect and remove non-compliant single-word keywords with the One Word Keywords tool.

Insights: Identify issues before they become compliance risks

Quality Score Tracking
The Quality Score Tracker helps you monitor keyword, ad group, and campaign-level scores daily to identify and act on underperforming terms.

Landing Page & Ad Relevance
Use the Landing Page Analysis Tool to spot mismatches between ads and landing pages, helping ensure better ad relevance.

Keyword & Ad Performance Insights
Use Magic Quadrants to get a visual overview of which keywords and ads are performing well — and which may need adjustments.

Optimization: Take action to stay compliant

Pause Non-Compliant Keywords
Build custom strategies in Rule Engine to pause single-word keywords or those with low Quality Scores. You can add additional filters, such as conversion data, to refine your logic.

Improve CTR with Better Ads
Use A/B Testing for Ads to rotate out underperforming ad copy and boost your CTR.

Add High-Performing Keywords
Promote strong search terms to full keywords using the Keyword Lasso, improving alignment and relevance.

FAQs

Do I need to pay the Optmyzr subscription amount if I’m charging a fee for managing grant accounts?

Yes, if you are charging clients for managing Google Grant accounts, those accounts will count toward your plan limits, and fees will apply.

How does the Grants plan (subscription and limits) work if I’m managing paid accounts in addition to grant accounts?

If you manage both paid and grant accounts, grant account spend will be excluded from the overall spend calculation, provided you’ve shared the account IDs with Optmyzr.

However, this exclusion applies only if you do not charge fees for managing grant accounts.

What is the maximum ad spend limit on the Free Grants Plan?

Google Ad Grant accounts on the Free Grants Plan are limited to $20,000 in monthly spend per account. Accounts exceeding this threshold may be subject to additional verification or charges.
