Getting to know your timezone settings in different Ad platforms
Many Optmyzr tools use the default timezone settings of your ad accounts to run their operations. Here's the list of all ad platforms along with the places where you can find your default timezone:
Google Ads
The time zone for your Google Ads account is permanently set when you set up your account. This setting cannot be updated because it's such a fundamental part of your account reporting and billing.
You can find your timezone in the 'Admin' panel under 'Preferences'.
Microsoft Ads
Microsoft Ads lets you change your account timezone as and when you like. However. changing timezone will lead to wide-ranging impacts across your campaigns. Read more about it here.
You can find the timezone settings in the 'Account Settings' section
Facebook Ads
Meta allows you to change your account's timezone, however, changing the timezone will deactivate the existing ad account and any ads running on that account will be stopped. You can't reactivate this account. A new ad account will be created with the new time zone. Use this new ad account to run your ads. Read more about it here.
You can change the timezone settings from the Business info section in the Payment Settings menu.
Amazon Ads
Every campaign in an Amazon Ads account operates on the timezone corresponding to the location it serves. For example, campaigns in the United States run in the Pacific Time (PT) and campaigns in Germany run in Central European Time (CET). You can read more about it here.
