What is it?

The Account Dashboard provides quick takeaways at the account, campaign, and other levels. This helps out for the easy identification of optimization opportunities. You can view the overall account, campaign, ad group, and keyword level performance segment by network and device, as well as analyze performance by labels. Alongside, you would be getting some quick insights.

Select a View

Switch between the different views (top right) to analyze performance. The one-click switch between these modes lets you compare the performance of the right metrics.

For example, to analyze leads, the system will automatically show the conversions and cost per conversion at the top, along with all conversion data. However, if you are interested in knowing the traffic on an account, the cards in the 'Performance Metrics' widget will be focused on impressions, clicks, and cost.

You're also able to customize the metrics displayed in the 'Performance Metrics' widget, regardless of the selected view, by clicking on the columns icon.

Define Filters

Manage these settings to analyze account/campaign performance. You can define the following variables before "updating" data:

  1. Segregate data by campaign types, bid strategies, campaign groups, Optmyzr labels, or Google Ads labels.

  2. Select a date range to view performance trends (for more advanced options, you can try to offset the data or use custom date ranges).

  3. Segment data by network and devices.

Optimization Side Tray

The Settings button on the top right allows you to open the Optimization Side Tray where you will be able to edit and optimize various aspects of your account, extending down to the keyword level.

You can read more about it here.

Metric Comparison

Using metric comparison, you can select and compare metrics for any date range. Information on your top campaigns, ad groups, and keywords can be analyzed on the account dashboard, and you can select the deciding metric to get the required results.

If you've set up custom Google Ads or SA360 conversions for the account, You'll be able to find them in the drop-down menu under the 'Custom Conversions' option.

Optmyzr Sidekick

Your personal PPC AI assistant is now available for you to use to your advantage. Click on the 'Optmyzr Sidekick - AI PPC Assistant' button present on the top right side of the Account Dashboard to open up Optmyzr Sidekick.

Optmyzr Sidekick uses a combination of generative AI as well as homegrown machine learning algorithms which makes it capable of looking at and analyzing the various aspects and KPIs of your account to provide you with valuable feedback, quick optimizations that you can perform right away, optimizations for budgets, ad suggestions, etc.

Choose from the various pre-configured prompts or ask your own questions to get started analyzing and optimizing with your personal PPC Assistant.

Check out the 'How to use?' section to better understand Sidekick and the types of prompts it can respond to.

Additionally, Sidekick can retain the context of the current conversation until you choose to ' Clear Chat'. It will also give importance to specific metrics in its responses depending on the view that you have selected for your Account Dashboard.

If we detect that your browser is using a language different from English, you will have the option to view and select your preferred language from a dropdown menu located on the top right side of the tool.

Optmyzr Sidekick is currently available for all platforms except Yahoo.

Note: Optmyzr Sidekick AI might occasionally alter the names of specific metrics or even Optmyzr tools and terminology. For feedback or requests of any kind, please contact support.

Top Elements

Quickly locate the top-performing campaigns, ad groups, and keywords.

  1. Identify the most costly components to reduce unwanted spend.

  2. Identify the areas bringing in the maximum conversions.

  3. While analyzing Top Keywords, open the full table to know their associated Match Type, Campaign, Ad Group, and other metrics.

By clicking on the link titled ‘View Full table’ or ‘And x more', the system will open a side menu with more metrics available, which you can change if desired by clicking on the columns icon. You'll also find different sorting options, which include custom Google Ads or SA360 conversions, and the ability to change scope.

Please note that you can change the date range only outside of the table in the Account Dashboard.

Top Competitors

The Top Competitors widget in Optmyzr's account dashboard uses Optmyzr’s proprietary method to detect possible competitors within your account. It displays information about how many campaigns, ad groups, and keywords you're competing with against other businesses.

In the top right corner of the widget, you'll see a dropdown that allows you to change the view to Competitors by campaign, ad group, or keyword. Next to each competitor, you'll also see how the number of entities where you're competing with them has changed over time.

If you want to explore the information in more detail, you can click the "View more" button at the bottom of the widget. This will open a side tray with the full list of competitors and an expanded visualization of your competition.

One of the key benefits of the Top Competitors widget is that it provides a more granular view of your competition than Google Ads' Auction Insights. While Google's tool shows top competitors based on its thresholds, Optmyzr looks for competitors at the keyword level without any filtering, providing a more detailed understanding of your competition and bringing up competitors that were probably not considered before.

On the other hand, the Auction Insights Report from Google Ads allows you to compare your performance with other advertisers who are participating in the same auctions as you are, providing insights into the auction marketplace and how you can improve your campaigns.

PMax Channel Distribution

The PMax Channel Distribution widget displays where your Performance Max budget was spent across Shopping, Video, Display, and Other channels, as well as the top-performing channels based on metrics such as Conversions and Conv. Value. You can choose the metric used in the analysis by selecting the option in the top right corner. Additionally, you can view the breakdown of performance by campaigns based on the selected metric by clicking on the "View Full Table" link located at the bottom of the widget.

This widget analyzes data from multiple Shopping, Video, and Display reports as well as data from a combination of the Other channels that Performance Max serves, including Search, Gmail, Maps, and Discover.

PPC Investigator

This tool helps you find exactly what caused a metric to increase or decrease. Answering questions such as why conversions/clicks dropped the previous month can give you great insights into account improvement.

Clicking on view full chart will take you to the full version of this tool. You can read more about it here.

Quality Score

You can see the quality score at the account level to see how your account is performing, along with information for its three components: "Expected CTR Quality", "Ad Relevance", and "Landing Page Experience". On clicking on view details, you will be redirected to our Quality Score Tracker where you can find ways to optimize your Quality Score.

Change History Widget

This widget shows the total number of changes made in the account in the Last 30 days and lists the top three categories of changes in descending order based on the number of changes made.

Clicking on 'View Details' will open up a side tray displaying a line chart with datestamps that helps compare which entity had how many changes on a particular day and the measure of a specific performance metric (say, there were 12 bidding changes on April 20th and 26.50 conversions on that day) helping see how changes may have affected performance.

Scrolling further down, you can segment those change types by a particular campaign and ad group.

Furthermore, clicking on a change number opens up a modal with what exactly those changes were, where they were made, and by whom.

Projected Spend

What is Projected Spend?

The Projected Spend analyzes spend data to predict how much your Google Ads or Microsoft Ads account is likely to spend by the end of the budget cycle.

You can see it on your Account dashboard screen in the 'Projected Spend' section.

How does it work?

It uses machine learning to predict the likely spend for each of the remaining days of the budget cycle. It analyzes actual spend over the past few days to predict how much your Google Ads or Microsoft Ads account will accrue at the end of the budget cycle.

'Spend till today' considers the projected spend until the end of the day. Meanwhile, the 'Projected spend' is the estimation at the end of your budget cycle.

The 'Target budget' and 'Budget cycle' are defined based on the settings set for the account on the MCC Dashboard. If you haven’t defined those yet, Optmyzr will consider by default the cycle date to be the 1st of every month, and it will not display any target budget to reach, so you will still be able to see how it projects your spend.

When you hover over the graph, you will see information on the amount of spend estimated for today and the end of the cycle, along with their percentage of target.

Note: the Projected Spend widget uses cached data, and it is refreshed daily since it is meant to give you a quick overview. If the 'Target budget' or 'Budget cycle' is modified, these changes won't be reflected until the tool refreshes. This can lead to some slight discrepancies if you compare it with the data in the Spend Projection tool.

The main Spend Projection tool will be updated with the latest data. You can read how it works here.

You can also use the 'Force refresh suggestions' data button in the bottom right corner of the account dashboard to get the latest spend projection.

In case you recently modified your 'Target budget' or 'Cycle date' on the All Accounts Dashboard, it might not reflect immediately on the Account dashboard. In such a case, you can use the refresh button.

Performance Change

This widget gives you an easy-to-understand overview of how your top campaigns, keywords, ad groups, campaigns, search queries, and product groups, have changed compared to a previous period in regards to a specific KPI.

The dropdowns present on the top right of the widget let you select the desired domain for comparison as well as the performance metric (KPI).

Click on 'View Comparison Table' to get a much more detailed view of the comparisons.

Account Performance Reports

You can choose from three Pre-Built templates: Monthly, Detailed Weekly Performance, and Detailed Monthly Performance. These templates change according to the Account Dashboard view; so for example, if you have the Conversion view selected, the report you will be previewing will automatically include all the Conversion-related metrics that matter to review your performance.

From there, you can decide to download or schedule your report as it is or customize it further.

The 'View Scheduled Reports' is a shortcut for you to access the list of all the reports scheduled across all your accounts in an active or paused state.

Segment Performance: Networks & Device

This option lets you instantly compare metric performances across networks and devices. You can quickly find out if Costs and Conversions are in sync with each other on the networks and devices.

For example, if you are getting 70% of your conversions on Mobile when 70% of your cost is spent on Computers, you can quickly identify and correct what might be causing the imbalance. In such a situation, you could decrease your bids on Computers and increase them for Mobiles.

PPC Audit Score

The PPC Account Audit widget is a quick and easy way to audit your account and view an overall average performance grade to see how everything is doing. It assigns a relevant grade to each component of your account based on relative factors. To view the full audit report, click on the ‘View Report’ button placed at the bottom left of the widget.

Likewise, you can get some information regarding your previous score recorded by Optmyzr, and by hovering over it, you will know the comparison date.

Clicking on 'View Report', you will get the full Audit preview with the ability to expand and see more detailed information for each section, along with some extra capabilities like changing your Conversion tracking directly in Optmyzr. Clicking 'View All Audits' will redirect you to the tool where you can customize your audits and schedule them to be received over email.

On hovering over the PPC Policy and Audit widget, you can access the settings icon that will help you choose a specific Audit template.

Clicking on the Settings icon will open up a side tray from where you can select the specific Audit template that you’d like to see on the Account Dashboard. This selection can be done both for specific Ads (Google or Microsoft) accounts or all the accounts in one go.

Please note that if a team member selects a particular template for an account, that template will be reflected in the Dashboard for all other team members. Until this setting is edited, you’ll see the default Optmyzr Audit template.

Head over here to read more about how the PPC Account Audit tool works.

The Audit Grade on the Account Dashboard is checked and updated between 2 - 5 days, depending on how actively the account is being used.

Optmyzr Express

Find your to-do list for each account under Optmyzr Express. This tool allows you to breeze through multiple optimization tasks in minutes. The number mentioned after the task name indicates the number of suggestions available.

Clicking on the arrow will open the particular task on top of the Account Dashboard screen. If you wish to review tasks across accounts, you can open the tool here.

Read more about the tool here.

URL Health Monitor

The URL Health Monitor widget continuously monitors your top 100 highest-cost URLs and provides reports on their status. It will display the number of URLs that are functioning correctly, those with landing page issues, 404 errors, or webpages displaying the 'Out of Stock' text.

You will have the option to view more details if the system finds erroneous links or web pages. Clicking on the 'View Details' button will open a side tray with the necessary information including the URL, error details, campaigns, and other attributes. You can also download this report from the top-right.

The system checks your URLs once every day and updates the status on the widget.

The widget will display "No Data Available" if there are no URLs available to be checked or if dynamically generated URLs are not reported by Google Ads in their report.

Quick Insights

Quick Insights gives you important on-the-go information with graphs about the performance of your account keywords.

For example, the number of active keywords that have received impressions/clicks/conversions or Conversion Rate based on Keyword Match type.

If your Merchant Center is synced with Optmyzr, you will see if you have disapproved products on your shopping campaigns here as well.

You'll be able to download a CSV report including more details for each quick insights chart by clicking on the download button.

Force refresh suggestions

Some widgets do not rely on live data, so if you wish to refresh the data, you can use the "Force Refresh Suggestions" option.

This will get you the latest data for the following widgets:

  • PPC Audit Score

  • Express Suggestions

  • Quick Insights

Note: All other data on the page uses real-time data and, therefore, will already be up-to-date.

Note: This widget is not dependent on the date range you select for the rest of the Account Dashboard. These are statistics using the last 30 days unless it is related to search terms, where we provide the last 90 days' data.

Account Blueprint Tasks

The "Tasks Due" button displays your filtered, due, and overdue Blueprints tasks for the selected account. You can filter to view tasks associated with the current account, other accounts, or all accounts.

The "View Team's Tasks" link will open the task page, where you can review tasks for other members as well as for the whole team. You can read more about tasks for Blueprints here.

Search for Tasks and Accounts

The search bar in the upper corner makes it easier to find your tasks. It works both on the task name and blueprint name. The account selector also includes a search bar to quickly search for accounts.

Download Tasks

The Tasks Due allows you to download the task information through two options:

  1. CSV file. This includes a list of active and completed tasks. Active tasks are sorted by the due date, and completed tasks are sorted by the latest completed.

  2. Excel file. This includes all active and completed task details in two separate tabs within the same file.

Run and Archive Tasks

On the right side of the screen, you'll see a "play" icon. This will send you directly to the tool to review or complete the task.

You can also archive individual overdue tasks with the archive icon. Please note that it is not possible to archive tasks that are due in the future.

When viewing a particular task, you'll find these options in the top right corner:

  1. "My tasks". Press here to be taken back to your main "My tasks" page.

  2. "Next tasks". Press here to be taken to the next task. To do so, you'll need to select whether to mark this task as complete (even if no changes were made) or to skip it for now.

Note: the "next task" button will only go through the tasks which are due for the current week.

Create a Microsoft Ads accounts

If the Google Ads account you've selected is advertising a domain that doesn't have a Microsoft Ad account linked to Optmyzr, you'll see a widget on the right-hand side of the Account Dashboard. From there, you can initiate the account creation process by filling in the required information. You can read more about this and find a step-by-step guide here.
