Custom domains for report links are only supported for enterprise users. To customize your domain, please contact support@optmyzr.com.

Generally, reports are created using a static link with a generic domain (reports-access.com). However, you can request a custom domain for your report links. This allows you to white-label your links and include your company or agency's name, giving clients a more branded experience.

Before You Begin

To set up a custom domain, make sure that:

  1. You have access to the DNS settings for the domain you want to use

  2. You can add or edit DNS records with your domain provider

If you are unsure about your DNS management, contact your IT or web hosting team.

How to Set Up a Custom Domain for Your Reports

Step 1: Choose a custom domain

Decide what domain you’d like to use for your report. For example:

reports.youragency.com or reports.yourcompany.com

Once you have made a decision, share it with our support team.

Step 2: Get DNS Details from Our Support Team

Once we set up your custom domain on our side, we’ll provide the DNS record you’d need to add.

Step 3: Adding the DNS Record

To add the DNS record, log in to your DNS provider account, locate the settings, and open the section titled “DNS Records” or “DNS Management.”

In there, you need to:

  1. Create a new DNS record

  2. Choose CNAME (Canonical Name) as your record type

  3. Enter the values into the corresponding fields

    1. Host/Name: Paste the CNAME name we provided

    2. Value/Points to/Target: Paste the CNAME value we provided

  4. Save the record

Although the steps are fundamentally the same, you might see varying terminology depending on your provider. If you encounter issues, consult your DNS provider’s help documentation or contact their support team for assistance.

Step 4: Verification

Once the DNS record is added, let our support team know. We’ll verify the configuration and let you know when your custom domain is active.

Step 5: Using a Custom Domain

Once the verification is successful, your report links will use your custom domain. Any clients you share reports with will be able to see the branded links you configured.
