Create Custom View
What is it?
All optimizations show suggestions based on a default date range and filter selection. The data columns are also preselected. The Create View feature lets you change these default settings and save them for future use.
For example, in the Keyword Lasso, if you always analyze search terms for the last 30 days and use a custom filter, you can create a view with these settings and save it as the default.
The next time you open the Keyword Lasso it will load up with these default settings and you won't have to spend time editing them.
How to use it?
On the right side of the page, you'll see a 'Create View' dropdown. Clicking on it will bring up the options below by default.
System Default - This is the default view that you will get to see when the tool loads up. It will use the default date range, set of data columns, and filter.
Save Current View - This will let you create your own view based on date range, columns, and filters. You can save the view (date range, columns, and filters that are selected at that time) and the next time when you load the tool, it will load with the saved view. They are available across accounts.
While saving the view you're given two options:
To either save the view only for you or
To make it available to your other team members too
The option to save the view 'For me and my team' won't be available if you have 'My filter' or personal filter selected in the tool.
Please note that if you had saved a team view previously including a personal filter, by default our tool will revert back to show the All suggestions filter. We recommend saving the settings of that filter to be visible for you and your team.
Once you create a view and save it as the default, the tool will always load with the custom view setting. That way, you won't need to define the settings every time you access the tool.
Create Filters
What Is It?
If you adjust the same parameters to analyze data in various optimizations, you can save them as custom filters. This will allow you to easily access them every time you access the optimization without the need to set them up again. You can create a filter just for yourself or for your entire team. Filters are available across accounts, based on your strategy, you can choose to use the same filter across accounts or create account-specific ones.
How It Works?
To create a filter, select the parameters you want to use, and click on the "Save Filter" button. You can choose to save the filter to be available only to you, or to share it with your team.
If you want to use the filter across campaigns, you can save it "For My Team". If the limit (lower/upper) is not highlighted, this means that the custom filter will update the limit depending on the account. E.g. if Campaign 1 has a maximum of 100 Impressions, and Campaign 2 has 2000, the custom filter will take the upper limits in both campaigns automatically.
Deleting a Filter
You can delete custom filters by clicking on the "Save Filter" button, which should now include the option "Delete Filter"
Note: team filters can be deleted by any team member in the account.
