Rule Engine Scopes for Amazon

Campaign

Supported Campaign Types: Sponsored Product, Sponsored Brand, Sponsored Display campaigns.

Under the campaign scope, you can

  • find campaigns limited by daily budget,

  • get a report of all campaigns and see which ones have generated sales, clicks, and impressions,

or create custom strategies from scratch.

The following actions are supported under the scope:

  • Include in Report

  • Modify Status

    • Pause or Enable Campaigns

Campaign Placement

Supported placements: Top of the Search, Rest of the Search, Product Detail Pages placements for Sponsored Product and Brand campaigns.

The following actions are supported under the scope:

  • Include in Report

  • Adjust Bids

    • Top of Search (First Page) for Sponsored Product

    • Product pages for Sponsored Product

    • Rest of Search for Sponsored Product

    • All Placements below Top of Search for Sponsored Brand

Note that you can increase bids by up to 900%

Ad Group

The following actions are supported under the scope:

  • Modify CPC Bids

    • Increase or decrease CPC bids

    • Set bids

  • Modify Status

    • Enable or Pause Ad Groups

  • Modify vCPM Bid

    • Increase or decrease vCPM bids

    • Set vCPM bids

  • Include in Report

Ad

Supported ads: Product ads in Sponsored Product and Display campaigns

The following actions are supported under the scope:

  • Modify Status

    • Enable or Pause Ads

  • Include in Report

Product (ASIN)

Supported products: The scope gives you account level performance reports for advertised products and purchased products.

The following actions are supported under the scope:

  • Include in Report

Ad Group Search Term

Supported search terms: ASIN and keyword search terms from both manual and automated targeting campaigns

The following actions are supported under the search term scope:

  • Include in Report

  • Add Keywords

    • Add as positive keyword

    • Add as negative keyword

    • Add as negative keyword at campaign level (only for Sponsored Products)

  • Add Product Targets

    • Add as positive product target

    • Add as negative product target

Note: For Sponsored products, you can add products as exact or expanded positive targets

Target

Supported targets: Keywords, Product targets(ASINs and Categories), and Audiences.

The following actions are supported under the scope:

  • Include in Report

  • Modify CPC Bids

    • Increase or decrease CPC bids

    • Set bids

  • Modify Status

    • Enable or Pause Ad Groups

  • Modify vCPM Bid

    • Increase or decrease vCPM bids

    • Set vCPM bids

Custom Data Source

The following actions are supported under the scope:

  • Include in Report

Bid Adjustment Scope

The Bid Adjustments scope for Amazon Ads gives you centralized control over campaign-level placements.

You can use this scope to:

  1. Increase or decrease existing bid adjustments

  2. Create placement reports

  3. Set up alerts

The scope supports all placement bid adjustment options currently available in Amazon Ads.
