About Optmyzr Audits

What is It?

Optmyzr currently offers two kinds of audits:

  1. Account Structure Audits

  2. Shopping Feed Audits

These audits let you run a complete health check of your ad accounts and feeds to catch structural issues, policy violations, and missed optimization opportunities.

Why Use It?

Optmyzr Audits help you stay on top of account and feed health without manual reviews. Use audits to:

  • Identify issues quickly - Detect structural problems, policy violations, and missed optimization opportunities in your accounts and feeds.

  • Standardize account reviews - Apply consistent audit frameworks across multiple accounts using prebuilt or custom templates.

  • Prioritize what matters - Focus on high-impact issues with clear grading and actionable insights.

  • Monitor performance over time - Track audit scores and trends to understand whether account health is improving.

  • Automate routine checks - Schedule audits or set a primary audit to run daily, so you’re always aware of changes.

Getting Started

You can find the Optmyzr Audits page under the Account Health & Audits section of the menu.

Clicking on the 'Audits' option will take you to the Audits landing page, where you'll be able to see both Account and Feed audits. You will also see a list of all prebuilt and custom templates in your Optmyzr account.

You can:

  1. Switch tabs to view existing Account or Feed Audits

  2. Create a new Account or Feed Audit directly from the page

  3. Search for a specific Account or Feed Audit in your account

  4. View the last run details, score, and automation schedule (if automation is set up) for each audit

Account Structure Audits

The Account Structure Audit is a quick and easy way to audit your accounts, based on specified parameters. Optmyzr evaluates these parameters and assigns an overall performance grade, helping you quickly assess account health. You can read in detail about Account Structure Audits here.

You will see 4 prebuilt templates for Account Structure Audits. These are built by Optmyzr and serve different purposes:

  1. PMax Health Audit - Provides a complete health check of all Performance Max campaign elements.

  2. Default Account Audit - A comprehensive audit of account setup, creative best practices, and performance health.

  3. Account Structure Audit - Evaluates account structure to ensure a solid foundation for newly linked accounts.

  4. Performance Audit - Identifies issues affecting key performance metrics such as conversions, cost, and efficiency.

Apart from the 4 prebuilt templates, you will see custom templates. These are templates built from scratch by your team, based on your requirements. Custom templates can be used on all ad accounts linked to the Optmyzr account.

Shopping Feed Audits

The Shopping Feed Audit grades your merchant feed and shopping campaigns based on common parameters to identify quick opportunities for improvement. By providing a series of product, campaign, and product/listing group audits, the tool helps you maintain a well-structured and organized campaign setup. You will see 3 prebuilt templates for Account Structure Audits:

  1. Default Feed Audit - A full audit of feed quality, structure, and product performance.

  2. Feed Quality and Relevance - Checks feed accuracy, completeness, and quality to improve visibility in Shopping and PMax campaigns.

  3. Competitive Pricing and Performance - Analyzes pricing competitiveness and campaign setup to uncover products with issues and identify opportunities to improve performance.

Apart from the 3 prebuilt templates, you will see custom templates. These are templates built from scratch by your team, based on your requirements. Custom templates can be used on all ad accounts linked to the Optmyzr account.

Actions Available on the Audits Page

  1. Run the Audit - Run the audit manually at any time.

  2. Customize checks and threshold (only prebuilt templates) - Create a copy of the prebuilt templates to customize them. You can adjust the checks and thresholds in the template. Please note that this will create a new custom template in your account.

  3. Edit or delete audit checks (only custom templates) - You can edit or delete the custom templates in your account at any time.

  4. Schedule to run automatically - Set up an automation to run the audit at fixed intervals.

  5. Set as primary audit - You can set any of the prebuilt or custom templates as the primary audit in the account. The primary audit will run daily in the background to continuously monitor the account and/or feed health. Primary audits will be clearly marked as such on the page.

  6. View historical score trend - View past scores of the audit and see how your account or feed structure performance has been trending
