Feed Optimization - FAQs

The tool is currently in beta and available on request. Please contact support@optmyzr.com to request access.

Where are the Feed Optimization changes applied?

Optmyzr writes your changes to a supplemental data source in the Merchant Center. Your primary feed remains untouched.

Do my edits go live immediately?

No. Everything you do in the tool is a draft until you click Create And Publish Feed. Use Save and Exit if you want to keep unfinished work without publishing.

How do I pull the latest state of the feed to optimize product data?

Click on the resync option on the tool landing page. It pulls the latest product data from your Merchant Center feed into Optmyzr. Use it if your feed has changed since the last sync shown on the landing page.

What do the impact labels on an audit mean?

They indicate how much that issue is likely to affect your Shopping performance — for example HIGH IMPACT or MEDIUM IMPACT. Hover the warning triangle on a column header, or the audit in the left panel, to see the label and the number of affected products.

Can I undo an edit?

Yes. Open the cell and use the revert option to restore the original value from your source feed. To remove a column rule, open the gear icon on that column and cancel or clear the rule.

What does "Fallback" mean in the rule preview?

It means that product matched none of your conditions, so it received the value from your Default Mapping.

Which platforms are supported?

Feed Optimization works with Google Merchant Center accounts linked to your Google Ads accounts.
