Access Levels are available on the Optmyzr Enterprise plan.

On other plans, Optmyzr uses a simpler access model where users with access to the platform can manage connected ad accounts. Primary and Secondary user roles are not part of non-Enterprise plans.

The access levels in Optmyzr have been designed to work perfectly with Google Ads access levels, as well as with access levels in Microsoft Ads, Facebook Ads, Yahoo Ads, and Amazon Ads. There will be one primary user on the account, and the other team members will be secondary users.

How does it work?

Primary User

The primary user will have access to all Ads accounts linked to Optmyzr irrespective of which team member links them.

Secondary User

Team members will be able to access and link to Optmyzr the Ads accounts that they have access to in the respective platforms.

The level of access in Optmyzr for an account (read-only or read and write) will be the same as the access level in the Ads platforms. If a user stops having access to an account in them, their access in Optmyzr to that account will also be revoked.

How are changes reflected in change history in Google Ads?

As part of this feature, in the change history in Google Ads, any changes made through Optmyzr will reflect under the MCC email of the Optmyzr user who made the change. This is because our system uses the MCC email of the Optmyzr user to access the Google Ads account through the API instead of the email that it was first linked from.

How to enable Access Levels

If you’re on Enterprise and would like to enable this feature, reach out to your Customer Success Manager or contact our team at support@optmyzr.com. We’ll help confirm eligibility and guide you through the setup.

Important:

Once Access Levels are enabled, all team members will need to reconnect their manager (MCC) accounts to Optmyzr. This step is required to ensure permissions are correctly synced across users. You can follow the steps in this guide to reconnect accounts.
