What is a Portfolio?
You can group accounts from different ad platforms — such as Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Yahoo, Meta and LinkedIn— into a single portfolio to manage and monitor them together.
Getting Started with Portfolios
To start using portfolio-level tools in Optmyzr:
Go to the All Accounts Dashboard
Switch to Portfolio View
Click Create Portfolio and give it a clear, descriptive name
Add the accounts you want to include and configure settings like currency and time zone
Once the portfolio is set up, all supported tools will be accessible for it

All Accounts Dashboard — Portfolio View
The All Accounts Dashboard includes a Portfolio View that lets you see all your portfolios in one place. From here, you can:
Portfolio Management — You can create, edit, and manage portfolios from the Portfolio View of the All Account Dashboard
Aggregated Metrics — View aggregated performance data across all accounts in a portfolio
Trend Charts — View trend charts for all the metrics when you hover over the data under it
Accessibility — Access your active portfolio and account budgets, along with Spend Projection charts
PPC Account Health Score — Account health scores are visible at the portfolio level on the All Accounts Dashboard, giving you a quick view of which accounts in the portfolio need attention
Target Budgets — You can set and manage target monthly budgets at the portfolio level directly from the All Accounts Dashboard or Budget Dashboard. The target budget is used across tools like Spend Projection and Budget Pacing (User Guide)
Portfolio Dashboard
Clicking on a portfolio in the All Accounts Dashboard takes you to that portfolio's dedicated dashboard. The Portfolio Dashboard gives you deeper insights into how accounts in the portfolio are performing. It includes several widgets:
KPI Widget — Track and compare key performance metrics across accounts, including date-range comparisons
Top Elements Widget — Identify the top-performing campaigns and accounts in the portfolio
Platform Distribution Widget — See how performance and spend are distributed across ad platforms
Express Optimizations Widget — Apply optimizations across accounts in just a few clicks, directly from the dashboard
Optmyzr Sidekick — Use AI-powered analysis and suggestions without leaving the portfolio view (User Guide)
KPI Tracking and Alerts
You can manage alerts at the portfolio level. Set up alerts to track KPIs and Budgets across all accounts in a portfolio and get notified when performance falls below a threshold or shows a negative trend.
Create KPI alerts at the portfolio level to monitor aggregated performance
Set up budget pacing alerts to get notified when a portfolio is overspending or underspending
Receive notifications via email, Slack, or Microsoft Teams
Budget Monitors
Budget monitors can span multiple accounts within a portfolio. Each monitor has a single monthly spend target and supports cross-platform campaign groupings. With Budget Monitors, you can monitor pacing, get alerts, auto-pause or auto-adjust.
Budget Monitors offer an extra layer of automation. The Budget Automation feature routinely adjusts campaign daily budgets every morning. To learn more about this automation, click here.

Budget Dashboard
The Budget Dashboard provides a centralized view of all budget activity for a selected account or portfolio. At the portfolio level, it includes:
Budget Overview Widget:
Budget Target — View and edit the monthly target budget for the portfolio
Spend Till Date — The total spend recorded from the start of the budget cycle to the current date.
Remaining Budget — Shows how much of your budget is left for the cycle
Spend Projection — The projected total spend for the cycle based on current performance trends.
Pacing — Check if the portfolio is on track to meet its spend target
Target vs Actual Spend — A visual comparison of the target budget and how much you have actually spent for each period in the selected date range
Spend Projection Widget — View a spend projection chart for the portfolio
Top Budgets Widget — Identify which budgets are driving the most impact
Ad Platform Performance Widget — See how spend is distributed across ad platforms in the portfolio
Account Performance Widget — See how spend is distributed across individual accounts in the portfolio
Budget Monitoring Widget — Get a quick overview of all budget monitors set up for the portfolio
Budget Scripts — An overview of all budget scripts currently configured in the selected Google Ads account
Performance Metrics — Overview of all your performance metrics at a budget level for the selected date range (User Guide)
Note: The Ad Platform Performance and Account Performance widgets are available only in the portfolio/multi-account Budget Dashboard.
Reallocate and Optimize Budgets
The Reallocate and Optimize Budgets tool supports portfolio-level budget optimization. At the portfolio level, it lets you:
Group campaigns from different accounts into budget monitors with a shared monthly spend target
Set constraints at the portfolio, platform, and channel level to control how budgets are reallocated
View projected impact on key metrics before applying any changes
Use Media Mix Charts to understand how budget changes will affect spend distribution across platforms
Apply bulk changes across multiple budgets at once (User Guide)
Spend Projection
The Spend Projection tool predicts how much a portfolio is likely to spend by the end of the selected time period. It uses machine learning to analyze spend data, historical seasonality, and recent performance trends to generate an accurate projected spend range.
Select a portfolio to see projected spend across all accounts within it
Use the simulation budget field to model different spend scenarios
View AI-generated summaries to quickly interpret spending trends (User Guide)
Rule Engine
With the Rule Engine, you can copy strategies across portfolios, convert them to global strategies, and automate them to run on a schedule. It supports portfolio-level strategy creation and automation for several platforms:
Google Ads and Microsoft Ads — Rule Engine strategies can be applied across multiple accounts within a portfolio scope.
LinkedIn Ads — Rule Engine for LinkedIn requires a portfolio. You must create a portfolio and add your LinkedIn account to it before you can create or run strategies.
Meta Ads — Rule Engine for Meta Ads supports both account-level and portfolio-level strategy creation. You can run strategies directly or through a portfolio.

Reports
The Multi-Account Report tool lets you include data from multiple Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Google Analytics, Amazon Ads, Meta Ads, and LinkedIn Ads accounts in the same report.

Meta and LinkedIn Specific Tools
Ad Analyzer
Ad Analyzer supports portfolio-level analysis for social ad platforms. You can filter and analyze ads across all accounts in a portfolio based on performance strategies — such as isolating converting ads, flagging expensive ones, or applying custom filters — without switching between accounts. Social Campaign Manager
The Social Campaign Manager supports portfolio-level management for Meta and LinkedIn Ads. You can create and manage campaigns across multiple social ad accounts that are grouped into a portfolio, keeping your social campaign workflows organized and consistent. (User Guide)
Automation Schedules
Automation Schedules in Optmyzr support portfolio-level automation. You can schedule Rule Engine strategies, budget optimizations, and other recurring tasks to run automatically across all accounts in a portfolio. This removes the need to run optimizations manually for each account. (User Guide)
Automation History Logs
The Automation History Logs let you review all automated actions that were taken across accounts in a portfolio. This gives you a clear audit trail of what ran, when it ran, and which campaigns or budgets were affected — across all accounts in the portfolio in one view. (User Guide)
Optimization History Logs
The Optimization History Logs support portfolio-level tracking. To view changes made for a portfolio:
Go to Optimization History
Make sure the Show for All Accounts setting is switched off
Select the Optmyzr logo (instead of an ad account) to access the portfolio selector
Select the portfolio you want to review
This gives you a consolidated view of all changes applied across accounts in that portfolio. (User Guide)
Monitor Error Notifications
Monitor Error Notifications in Optmyzr work at the portfolio level, alerting you to failed automations, disconnected accounts, or other issues across accounts in your portfolio. You can receive these notifications via email, Slack, or Microsoft Teams, so issues are flagged before they impact performance. (User Guide)
