The Monthly Target Budget in Optmyzr represents the total amount you plan to spend in your ad account over the course of a month. This value acts as a benchmark for monitoring performance and generating budget insights within Optmyzr.
It does not modify campaign budgets in the ad platform or affect ad delivery.
It resets on a specific day of the month that you can define.
It’s used only for tracking, pacing, and alerts inside Optmyzr.
It can be configured/modified anytime inside the Optmyzr All Accounts Dashboard.
How does Optmyzr use the Monthly Target Budget?
Once a Monthly Target Budget is set, Optmyzr begins using it across several budget analysis tools to provide actionable insights.
Budget Monitor Alert: The Monthly Target Budget can be used to configure Budget Monitor alerts. Optmyzr can also give you Budget Pacing insights by comparing your actual spend against your target and the number of days elapsed in the month. This helps you determine whether you are:
On track
Overspending
Underspending
This helps you understand if adjustments may be needed before the month ends. (User Guide)
Spend Projection: Based on current performance trends, the tool forecasts your end-of-month spend to tell you whether you’ll miss or exceed your target. It specifies the daily spend required to reach the monthly target.
This gives you early visibility so you can make adjustments in time. (User Guide)Optimize Budget: The Optimize Budgets tool allows you to optimize and reallocate budgets between account campaigns to reach the monthly target. (User Guide)
If you are configuring these budgets during Amazon account onboarding, you’ll be able to view these insights as soon as your first account data fetch is complete.
