Ad Spend and Account Overages
What happens if I exceed the spend limits in my subscription plan?
We understand that there may be some fluctuation in spend and accounts linked to Optmyzr from one month to the next. We take care of this with a 15-20% buffer built into the plan limits. This buffer takes care of small fluctuations in spend.
But, if your Optmyzr account consistently exceeds the levels of your subscription plan (despite the buffer), you can choose to upgrade to a higher plan or pay for the overages every month.
If you think you need to switch plans, you can contact us at support@optmyzr.com, and we will recommend a subscription plan that aligns with the growth goals for your business.
How do ad spend overages work?
If your monthly ad spend goes over the limit included in your plan, tiered overage charges will apply. These are calculated per additional $1,000 of ad spend, and the rates depend on how far above your limit you go.
Each Optmyzr plan includes:
A spend limit (included in your subscription)
An Overage Rate 1 for the spend above that limit, up to a threshold. You pay this rate for the portion between your plan’s limit and the threshold.
An Overage Rate 2 for spend beyond the threshold, and you pay this rate only for the amount that exceeds the threshold.
Breakdown of the tiered overage charges for each plan:
Plan | Spend Limit | Overage Rate 1 (up to threshold) | Threshold | Overage Rate 2 (after threshold) |
25K | $25,000 | $3.50 per $1K | $100,000 | $1.60 per $1K |
50K | $50,000 | $3.00 per $1K | $100,000 | $1.60 per $1K |
75K | $75,000 | $1.60 per $1K | $1,000,000 | $1.00 per $1K |
150K | $150,000 | $1.60 per $1K | $1,000,000 | $1.00 per $1K |
250K | $250,000 | $1.49 per $1K | $1,000,000 | $1.00 per $1K |
350K | $350,000 | $1.49 per $1K | $1,000,000 | $1.00 per $1K |
500K | $500,000 | $1.49 per $1K | $1,000,000 | $1.00 per $1K |
Here's an example of how overages will be calculated if you're on the 25K Plan and spend $120,000 in a month.
The first $25,000 is covered in your plan, so no extra charge.
The next $75,000 (from $25K to $100K) is charged at $3.50 per $1,000, which comes to $262.50.
The final $20,000 (anything above $100K) is charged at $1.60 per $1,000, adding $32.00.
So, your total overage charge will amount to $294.50.
Please note that rates are numerically the same in AUD and EUR.
Enterprise plan customers may have different account overage terms based on individual agreements. Your specific rates are visible on your Settings page. Reach out to support@optmyzr.com if you have questions.
What else should I know about overages?
First-month flexibility: If you're a new customer, we’ll automatically waive any overage charges in your first month and let you know by email.
No disruptions during spikes: If your ad spend temporarily goes over your plan limit, we’ll keep everything running smoothly and just apply the extra charges as needed. No interruptions.
Automatic upgrade after 2 months: If your spend stays over the limit for two months in a row, and you're paying more in overages than the next plan costs, we’ll automatically upgrade you. You’ll get a heads-up email 7 days before the change.
Billing adjustments:
If you’re on a monthly plan, the upgrade starts in your next billing cycle.
If you’re on an annual plan, we’ll prorate the upgrade charge for the remaining period.
How are additional ad accounts charged?
Essentials Plan: Essentials users are limited to 25 ad accounts. If you go over this, you’ll be charged $5 per additional account per month.
If these overages exceed the cost of moving to a Premium plan, we’ll automatically upgrade you to ensure better value. You’ll get a heads-up email 7 days before the change.
Premium Plan: The Premium plan allows you to add unlimited ad accounts. Fair usage policy applies.
Are Meta and Google Analytics Considered in Account Limits?
No, you can link as many Meta and Analytics accounts as you wish and include data from them in reports, and they won't be considered into the account limits.
Please note that Meta ad spend will be counted towards your total bill starting June 1st, 2026.
How Does Optmyzr Handle Overages for Wire Transfer or Cheque Payments?
For users paying via wire transfer or cheque, Optmyzr accumulates overages and bills them under the following conditions:
If the total overage amount remains below $400, it will be added to the next renewal invoice.
If the accumulated overages exceed $400 before the renewal date, a separate invoice will be issued to prevent a large outstanding balance.
Any issued invoice will follow the same credit terms as the subscription (e.g., due in 14 or 30 days).
If your renewal is approaching, overages will be billed along with your subscription renewal. Otherwise, a separate invoice will be sent based on the total accumulated amount.

Refunds and Cancellations
Can I cancel my paid subscription at any moment?
Yes. Our subscription plans are not contract-based, which means you can choose to change or cancel the subscription at any time. This is irrespective of the type of plan you have signed up for.
If you wish to cancel your Optmyzr subscription, the process is straightforward. You can send a cancellation request through your Optmyzr account or email us at support@optmyzr.com. After cancellation, your subscription will remain active until the end of your current billing cycle, and you will not be billed for the next cycle.
Can I cancel my trial account?
Your trial account will be deactivated automatically after the trial period ends (14 days). As Optmyzr doesn't request your credit card details when you sign up for a free trial, no charges will be made.
If you would like to revoke access to Optmyzr in Google Ads, you can follow the instructions available here. If you still want us to delete your trial account, let us know at support@optmyzr.com.
Will I get a refund for the unused months?
When a subscription is canceled, it will remain active until the end of the current billing cycle. No partial refunds will be provided for unused months.
What if I cancel while on an annual spend cap?
If you have an annual spend cap set for your Optmyzr subscription and decide to cancel before the end of the 12-month period, the monthly spend limit (annual spend cap/12) will be considered for the months that the subscription was active.
Here's an example to illustrate:
Let's say you have an Optmyzr subscription with an annual ad spend cap of $3 million, which translates to a monthly spend limit of $250,000 (3 million / 12).
If you decide to cancel the subscription after the second month, during which you have a total ad spend of $700,000, there would be an overage charge for the extra $200,000 in ad spend. For more details, please refer to our extra spend overage charge calculation formula here.
How do I proceed with the cancellation?
If you'd like to cancel your subscription, you can contact us at support@optmyzr.com.
Please note that the email must be sent from the same email address you've used to register to Optmyzr. You can also log in to Optmyzr and send us a message directly from the help box.
We'd also love to get your feedback on why you've decided to cancel and if there's something that you felt was missing or that we could've done better.

When is a contract required for standard and custom plans?
A contract is required for all custom plans. For standard plans, a contract is needed if you select an annual plan with monthly payments or if there are other customizations beyond the default pricing and offerings. Some exceptions, like enterprise deals or services beyond the standard scope, also require contracts.
Please reach out to support@optmyzr.com if you have any other pricing-related queries.
Are discounted annual plans available without a contract?
No, discounted annual pricing is only available with a one-year commitment and on a contractual basis. This means that the subscription has to run for a full year and cannot be canceled early.
